Hall for Contemporary Art
The Hall for Contemporary Art hosts major exhibition projects with contemporary artists. Each exhibition is conceived in collaboration with the artists, often as a spectacular total work of art in its own right.
House of Photography
The House of Photography at the Deichtorhallen Hamburg will be thoroughly renovated and modernized from August 2021. Not only will the damage to the more than 100-year-old listed building be repaired, but the exhibition venue will also be modernized to an international standard and its use expanded.
PHOXXI – Temporary House of Photography
PHOXXI presents international contemporary photography directly on the grounds of the Deichtorhallen, thus bridging the renovation and closure period of the southern Deichtorhalle, where the House of Photography has been located since 2005.
Falckenberg Collection
Across more than 6000 square meters of space on five floors, the Falckenberg Collection in the former Phoenix factory building in Hamburg-Harburg presents presents the private collection of Harald Falckenberg (1943–2023), whose focus is on German and American contemporary art since the 1980s.
